MARCH 2002

Dear Pastor and Church,

Since the September 11th terrorist attack the prisons have tightened their security. One prison we hold revival meetings in had someone to leave a pipe bomb in a dumpster. When we entered the property, the guards searched the trunk and dash compartment of our car, run us through a metal detector, patted our body down and checked our shoes. They also ask more questions than they normally do, but I don't blame them for doing their job. These terrorist are wicked people that don't care who they hurt or maim when spreading their hatred.

Several weeks ago, I got a call from an old friend of mine that I used to run with when I was lost. He said he had just gotten out of prison and said he would like to go to church with me and hear me preach again. This man had gotten Saved in one of the prison revivals and then they transferred him to another prison and I hadn't seen him in a few years. He went to church with me tonight. I really believe he got Saved, please pray for him. After 15 years in prison he will need some help making the transition.

Sincerely,

Bro. David Epps
